3. If you have an iPad 2 and have been saving SHSH 4.x, you can still downgrade to that version, but you will not be able to 5.0.1 if Apple had closed it, even if you have saved SHSH.
4. If you are the owner of the earlier iDevice iPad 2 (eg 1 iPad, iPhone 4, iPhone 3G,etc.), you can still downgrade to any version as long as have SHSH (including 5.0.1).
